From Lunada Bay Tile
Lunada Bay Tile began in a two-car garage by Carl Steadly in 2002. The first glass tiles took inspiration from painting, sculpture, textiles, and nature. Over the years, they expanded to ceramic and concrete. The name Lunada Bay Tile honors the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula of Los Angeles and exhibits our design philosophy. That is to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern influences while exploring the boundaries of material possibilities.
Influenced by the Southern California lifestyle and infused with a hint of Japanese sensibility, they design and produce handcrafted glass, ceramic, and concrete tiles. There is an emphasis on simplicity, texture, and color. Our tiles are born from an impulse to transform spaces in ways that enrich the experience of people’s lives.
